Conquer Con: To Be Continued
Since the idea rang through an everyday conversation, we have been practically twitching with excitement to bring Conquer Con to life. We know many of you were equally as stoked to hear about a science fiction and fantasy convention coming to the Fox Valley.
However, as we are all aware, COVID-19 has taken a toll on in-person events across the country. When news of the virus came out, we decided it was best to postpone the event. Our original date was September 19th, 2020. In lieu of that date, we chose June 5th, 2021 as our backup.
Since rescheduling, we have watched the news and have carefully considered the public health crisis and the expectations of our future guests. After months of deliberation, we have decided once again to postpone.
This time, though, we are not tagging a specific date for rescheduling. We feel the road back to large, public gatherings is still very uncertain, though we are optimistic.
Refunds
Because of the long nature of the pandemic, we will be issuing refunds to everyone who purchased tickets. If you bought a ticket from us, you will get an email confirming your refund. Please be patient as refunding everyone will take several days.
If you do not receive an email within the week, or do not receive the refund into your bank account, please contact us at info@conquerconexpo.com. If you are not a ticket holder but have other questions, we encourage you to reach out as well.
Looking Ahead
Regardless of the second postponement, we have grand plans for Conquer Con stowed away. We have every intention of bringing a science fiction and fantasy convention to the Appleton area as soon as it is safe to do so.
